What does everyone mean when he uttered "evolution"?
I mean, the definition could be layman's definition or is it the scientific definition as scientists understand it?
----- we must respect other fellow's religion, but only in the sense and to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart.
can you state in simple english what is evolution and what is darwin's theory?

The theory of evolution does not affirm we came from monkeys or apes, but it theorizes we have a common ancestor. A substantiation of this is the commonality of our DNA composition.

if evolution is true, then creation is a lie....
On the other hand; if evolution is true, then the more creation (as in the bible) must show evidence of being accurate. Evolution and creation are just two of hypothesis on the origin of life. As of now, no one can claim with certainty how life started. We just have to be ready to face what is true. Even if evolution is not true, it does not necessarily mean that creation is correct and vice-versa.

Evolution? Does it really exist?
Taken in the context of biology, YES, evolution exists. In Biology, evolution is defined as population genetic changes over time. This is shown by, for example, rats being resilient to pesticide overtime. Biologists claim that over time, genetic changes took place within the population of those rats.

sigh... the Creation isnt a detailed creation of the world. it uses metaphors. the message their is the most important, and that is God created the universe. Evolution is part of God's plan in the universe. eh paano kaya maintindihan ng mga nasiunang tao kung imention ang words na "molecules, atoms, solar flares, etc." eh they used metaphors para malunok ng mga nasiunang tao.

Genocide, pesticide... whats the difference??

do those terms even exist when the Bible was written? besides, creationism dictates that man is created from ashes. not from apes as the evolution dictates. oh and creationism dictates that man is created in the image of God. don't tell me that God looks like... i know you got what i mean.
oh and please prove to me that they (the writers of Bible) could've used the words you stated above. if you can prove it, get back at me and i will accept this post of yours:

otherwise, refrain from using derogatory words.
----- i was an atheist until i discovered i was god
oh and i may just state here that any theory about the beginning of life and the world, cannot be proven true. they will remain theories forever. same with evolution.
