anyways, i have a problem. i wanna try out a cookie recipe i got from the net - from true confections multiply account to be exact, so kanina, i went to chocolate lovers to pick up some ingredients i'm gonna need. when i got home, i saw na instead of vanilla extract, i got vanilla oil instead. question: same lang po ba ang vanilla oil that's sold in CL and ang vanilla extract?
i really-really would appreciate anyone who could help me with my dilemma. i wanna start baking sana by tomorrow morning e. thanks po.
hi icemaiden20
actually, vanilla extract is what you want to use for cookies. the extract is just the flavor and will not affect the texture or cooking of your cookies however vanilla oil would be like adding olive oil to your cookies and will make them greasy and also won't give as good a flavor as vanilla extract. this is why vanilla oil isn't generally used in cooking. if you have time, try to buy vanilla extract so as not to waste all other ingredients. hope this would help.
@icemaiden20
no problem. try mo either McCormick or Ferna vanilla extract. good luck sa cookies mo. hope you could share some pics and your experience in baking soon.
Blueberry cheesecake and baked cheesecake are both my faves. I also do home-baking when I was still in the Philippines tsaka business ko rin kasi un nong college ako. I was the 4th year rep for our org tas since marami akong kakilala I made sure magaling yong endorsement. Taste test muna tas I made sure na oorder sila (talk about sales talk here, dude) hehe... It went pretty well kaya lang I have to leave Pinas na so I stopped my business.
I am pretty sure your wife will do great. Magaling ung designs... iba talaga ang pinoy.
