if you guys have heard of or are facinated with the Bigfoot or the Lock Ness monster, you've been exposed to the world of cryptozoology, even if you didn't know it. cryptozoology is the study of mythical animals that have yet to be proven real. The animals that are studied in cryptozoology are known as cryptids.

i have heard alot about the loch ness but what i am really facinated with is the Mothman.

Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the USA is where this strange creature was first sighted. This creature is described as being gray in color, with large red eyes that glow like lights, it also has wings folded against its back. The eyes are located or set into what should be the upper chest or shoulder area, as though it has no neck or head. The creatures height averages 6 feet tall, and it is wider than a man. It produces high-pitched squeals. I think there was a movie about this way back starring Richard Gere but it was based on the actual mothman story.

guys, feel free to post anything about such creatures like the Sashquatch, the Lochness, the Chupacabra and others.

agreed. what makes it even more interesting is that if these creatures are real, then why have we never found a dead Bigfoot, a bone, or proof of any other creature?

diba dati sa mga jungle meron nakuha na giant footprints.. diko na malala kung kelan at saan... it may have been just a big joke of the local people there but what if it isn't? what if it for real?
Tama point ni Katsumoto, if its real, bakit sa tinagal ng panahon wala tayong makitang bones from it..

look at the legend of the giant squid. may mga kwento dati na merong mga giant squid na sa sobrang laki e nakakawasak ng mga barko at bangka, akala e mga kwento kwento lang yun. ngayon, napatunayan nga na merong ganong klase ng mga giant squid na buhay pa rin hanggang ngayon, pero very elusive.

Siguro may mga monsters nga na ganyan kasi sobrang laki ng oceans at marami pa ring parts ng mundo na di naeexplore ng tao. Yung giant squid eh na photograph ng isang japanese scientist at napanood ko sa discovery channel. Naputol nga ang isang tentacle ng giant squid kasi akala nya eh bait ang camera nun scientist eh ilang oras din nya to hinihila kasi na-stuck ata sya dun at di makaalis. Finally, after a few hours eh naalis din ang tentacle nya sa sobrang lakas ng force ng paghila nya sa camera. Dun nakuha ng Japanese scientist ang first footage daw ng giant squid na yun...nakalimutan ko na ang size nya at length pero sobrang laki...eh dami nga sila natutunan dahil sa footage na yun eh.. pero dami pa din kailangan malaman kasi mga theories nila nun eh na-prove wrong nung nadiscover nila...

Tama, may mga bago pa ngang nadidiscover na mga species kahit sa ngayon kaya maaring yung iba eh di pa natin alam talaga kung ano mga itsura. Di ko rin maintindihan kung bakit wala tayong makitang trace na nagexist nga mga to like fossils nila or what-not.

Yung iba siguro eh kathang isip lang at based lang sa stories ng matatanda sa mga bata para mabigyan ang mga bata ng lessons at para matakot sila para hindi pumunta sa isang lugar kasi delikado eh ginagawa nila panakot ang mga monster na ito.
