Rules and Guidelines

1. Hotseat credibility requirement for HS candidates and voters:
● Hotseat Candidates : 85% credibility
● Hotseat Voters : 80% credibility.

2. The entire session of Hotseat includes the ff:

a. Campaign/Voting Period - Monday to Friday (1st week)
b. Announcement - Saturday
c. Hotseater’s Session - Monday to Friday (2nd week)

3. During the Campaign/Voting Period initial results will be posted on the thread provided for the period to keep everybody updated.

since this portion conflicts with SL Etiquette, we are removing this:
Campaigners may use the SL where they can post their campaign banners and slogans as well.
just refer to rule 4 regarding the banner.

4. Each candidate is allowed to have only one campaign banner for the Voting/campaign period. Size of the banner should be 400X90 and must be submitted to Deville, Allan or Brodavid thru PM. You may host your banner to any image hosting site. It will then be posted on the voting thread.

5. Since we don’t have set of candidates, your nomination and a vote will be considered as one. A TDPer is allowed to nominate/vote 2 candidates, but he/she is allowed to cast his/her nomination/vote once. The nominee is given 3 points to cast or distribute his nomination/vote. Below is the format for nominating/voting.

a. *Nominee 1 – 3 votes
or
*Nominee 1 – 2 votes
*Nominee 2 – 1 vote
or
*Nominee 1 – 1 vote
*Nominee 2 – 1 vote
*Nominee 3 – 1 vote


6. Nominations/voting as well as the Campaign Thread will close on a Friday at 7pm on a week covered by the Campaign/Voting Period. Announcement of winner will be posted on the same thread on Saturday.

Sorry for the late announcement...anyway, here's our final result for our 7th Hotseat 2008 voting. Congratulations Amay, its you who will sit as our 7th Hotseater 2008.

And for the rest of the candidates, thank you very much for being part of our Hotseat Campaign/Voting period. And also, we would like to extend our thanks as well to all our candidates' supporters and campaign managers. Your efforts have made this voting campaign period more exciting.
