yeah! thats him..he died after 2nd movie (correct me if im wrong). Richard Harris really did justice to the character of Dumbledore. Then came the replacement and he totaly changed the character. The Dumbledore he portrayed doesnt have the wisdom that the character in the book signified..

DITTO. he's at par with Anthony Hopkins and the like..Saw him in Gladiator as the Roman Emperor, The Count of Monte Cristo as the old scholar who taught Jim Caviezel. And 2 very old films...Tarzan and Bo & A Man Called Horse. Mga dvd collections ni erpat.

He is really a very good actor and he really portrayed Dumbledore perfectly until the Chamber of secrets...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Getting 20 Minutes in IMAX 3D

This news today will be like rubbing salt in an open wound. Although its been delayed until July next year, and we won't exactly see the scenes that this news pertains to for another 10 months, IMAX has announced that the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will have roughly 25 minutes presented in IMAX 3D. ComingSoon reports that IMAX co-CEO Rich Gelfond mentioned in a earnings report conference call to shareholders that "we believe this film will include approximately 25 minutes in IMAX 3D split between the opening sequence of the film and the finale." This 3D presentation is most likely inspired by Order of the Phoenix's 20 minutes of footage during the final fight that was shown in 3D.

I didn't actually see the IMAX version of Order of the Phoenix from last year, so I can't say whether this is exciting news or not. However, I do remember hearing that it was quite well received by fans and I'm certain most will be excited to hear that some of the intense fight scenes from Half-Blood Prince will be in 3D. I'm not too familiar with the book, however I am under the impression that the fighting in the caves is part of the 25 minutes that will be shown in 3D. Half-Blood Prince is again directed by David Yates, of Order of the Phoenix last year. It will arrive in theaters everywhere starting on July 17th, 2009. If you need your Harry Potter fix, you can still watch that first teaser trailer over and over for another 10 months.

i saw the 3d part nung last movie. ok naman kasi un ung exciting part. pra kang nsa gitna ng mga laban nila. hehe.
