^^^true, but it's a much better solution than to let Starbury stay as a Knick. that's why their first option is to move him else where. the problem still is that Starbury's value went down a few seasons ago.

On Green Signing:

Can't argue with this signing. He is lazy and has Josh-Howard-single-digit-basketball-IQ but he can light it up from 3 and is athletic as hell. This is the Anti-Avery move where the Mavs get young talent and the ones that would help Kidd and vice versa with his plays. Good signing, low-risk and potentially very high reward. This kid is only 22.

Yup.. I do wish Green would take over Josh's place. In that way.. the Mavs could trade JHo by February.

On Diop Signing:

Basically the Mavs just paid less for a 26 year old center who can play defense, grab rebounds, anchor the deffense in the paint and keep up with full court offenses the enemy throws at us. I think he might show a big offensive improvement next year, just from getting easy baskets from Jason Kidd. If Kidd can make Mikki Moore look good, just imagine what he can do with Diop.

Good signing, getting a center who could start for less than 8 million a year is a coup.
