When free agency began, the Detroit Pistons had no intentions of using their full mid-level exception for one player.

But the Pistons might have a change of heart, especially if they have a chance to land a player such as Corey Maggette.

Maggette, a 6-foot-6 swingman, has made it clear he's willing to consider accepting the mid-level exception, which is expected to be worth about $5.8 million.

Although he was expected to re-sign a more lucrative deal when he decided to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Clippers, that all changed when Golden State's Baron Davis unexpectedly opted out of the final year of his deal, and agreed to a five-year, $65 million contract with his hometown Clippers.

Do you want me to tell you why the Mavs went to the finals? It is not about Avery, it only shows how good my man Dirk is. Dirk brought the Mavs to the Finals even with bad coaching. He stayed professional even if Avery made JHo the superstar of the team. Avery just wasted 3 prime years of Dirk.

With Diop and Green, I can smell WCF.

Mavs is still the best team in NBA. We have the full support of the owner who is not afraid to lose. We are still in playoffs inspite with bad coaching. Like I said, this season will be brighter for men in blue. Spurs can not match with us. Lakers can not defeat us. We own the Nuggets, Jazz ang Rockets ass.lol.

@Newbie, that was last 2 years but Spurs was defeated on OT in game 7 so I think I can consider that one as fluke .

As what I remembered also, this was the start of the choking of your team. Up 2-0 and in Game 3 Mavs were up by double digit until 3rd qtr and then suddenly your team not only gave up that game but also the next 3 games. d best team talaga
