^^^ Yeah she's back playing after a sabbatical leave from the sport (alam ko nagpahinga lang siya after giving birth), she first played again last French Grandslam, as far as I remember she was defeated by Ana Ivanovic at 2nd or 3rd round.
Well, clay is definitely not her favorite surface, just like Sharapova. Anyway, akala ko talaga nag-retire na siya for good. Lagi siyang talo eh, tapos tumatanda na rin kasi. Glad to see her back, though.

Ana Ivanovic escaped a thrilling game against Dechy, 6-7, 7-6, 10-8 in the 2nd round of the women's singles at Wimby. Muntik-muntikan na talaga, good thing she kept her composure.
Sa men's singles naman, the biggest upset so far at Wimby was, the 3rd (Novak Djokovic) and 4th (Nikolai Davydenko) seeds lost to their respective opponents, 2nd round. Si Safin yung nakalaban ni Novak, I don't know about Nikolai.
About Novak's defeat, I didn't happen to see his aggresiveness, his game was plagued with errors as well. Safin did a great job at containing Novak's forehand shots.
Is yet for me to watch any games of Sharapova, I really wanted to see her, in shorts.

^^ Since you were talking about upsets and Maria Sharapova earlier, let's discuss both (and the irony), shall we?
I'm sure you're not gonna like this... Former Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova just lost in STRAIGHT SETS (6-2, 6-4) against fellow Russian and unseeded player Alla Kudryavtseva in the 2nd round of the tourney. WOW!
Natalo na rin pala si Andy Roddick. Wala na si Djokovic, wala na rin si Roddick. Si Nadal hindi rin ganun ka-dominant sa mga previous matches niya, unlike sa clay na puro straight sets 'yung mga panalo niya.
^^^ And last night, Ana Ivanovic lost to an unseeded chinese lass named J. Zheng in two straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. LOL! I am a bit shocked as I watched the match.
Mukhang tama ang sinabi ko, its a season of big upsets.

Ouch! Not even close.
Is Jankovic still playing? I guess I'm gonna be rooting for her now since the two hotties are already out.
^^ Yeah, it's just that he's been struggling all year and some people actually expect an upset in this year's Wimbledon. But what I've seen so far from Federer is pure dominance and there isn't a player out there who could stop him from winning his 6th consecutive Wimbledon title if he keeps playing like this. I hope he faces Nadal in the finals.
